Restorative Care
One damaged tooth or several, a chip from an accident or years of gradual wear, we'll offer the treatments needed to get your smile back to full strength.
Fillings
A filling is about as common as dental work gets. When decay eats into a tooth, it often shows up as sensitivity or an outright ache. We'll clear away the decayed portion and rebuild the tooth with a tooth-colored filling material, restoring its shape and letting you chew without wincing. If the damage runs deeper than a filling can fix, the doctor may recommend a crown instead.
Crowns
A crown, sometimes called a cap, covers a tooth that's too worn down or broken for a filling to save. Getting one typically takes two visits. At the first, we'll prepare the tooth and fit you with a temporary crown while your permanent one is custom-made. At the second, we'll swap the temporary for the finished crown, and you'll be good to go.
Why We Use Local Dental Labs
Some offices send crown and denture work to low-cost overseas labs to save a few dollars. That shortcut tends to backfire in the form of poor-fitting pieces, extra adjustment visits, and remakes. We'll work exclusively with quality local labs instead, which means fewer trips back to the office and results built to last.
Root Canal Therapy
When decay reaches the nerve at the center of a tooth, it can bring on real pain, swelling, or infection. A root canal clears out the damaged tissue and, in most cases, saves the natural tooth rather than pulling it. The tooth is usually finished off with a crown for extra strength. On the rare occasion a tooth can't be saved, a dental implant becomes the long-term replacement option.
