The Drywall Is Up

We cut the old floors apart and are building our Bethlehem office from the ground up. Here is every step so far, newest first.
The crew covered last month's framing in drywall. You can now see the finished walls of every treatment room, the hallways, and the front desk.
The crew finished framing every wall in steel and wood. The hallway, the eight treatment rooms, the doorways, and the window openings are all in place. Next, the crew will run the plumbing and electrical lines before closing up the walls.
A busy two weeks. The crew finished the plumbing under the floor, covered it in stone, and poured fresh concrete across the whole space. Framing started right after on the new floor. Wood and steel studs now mark out the treatment rooms and doorways, and insulated air ducts hang from the ceiling.
The crew cut the old floors open and dug down to make room for new plumbing. They laid drain lines to each treatment room in gravel beds, with pipes sticking up along the walls.
The crew put in the new posts and beams that hold up the ceiling and took down the temporary scaffolding. Next, they cut trenches in the floor for the plumbing and utility lines to each treatment room.
The crew took out the load-bearing wall that split the building in two, so the full space is open for the first time. Scaffolding holds up the ceiling for now while the crew digs and pours footings for the new posts and beams. After that, they will remove the scaffolding and trench the floors for the dental equipment lines.
Construction has started. The crew is clearing the building down to its bare structure and removing walls to make room for the new layout. Here are a few photos from inside as the work begins.
We received our building permit and zoning approvals, so construction can start.
198A Nazareth Pike is officially ours, and we have the keys. We are turning the empty building into our third dental office, with eight fully equipped treatment rooms.
We toured 198A Nazareth Pike for the first time. A wall split the building into two halves, and we plan to take it down to open up the space for the new office.
